Student Research Conference
On April 26, 2014, I participated in the 9th Annual College of Idaho Student Research Conference (SRC). I gave an oral presentation on my Master's thesis, Art Journal Writing as a Method of Building and Articulating Visual Literacy. As a participant in the SRC, I was able to share my research with students, professors, and other professionals in a variety of fields. The experience afforded me an excellent opportunity to receive constructive feedback about my research.
My participation the in SRC demonstrates my willingness to share my knowledge with others and seek out peer review. As a teacher I strive to always maintain a growth mindset and pursue professional development opportunities. This disposition represents my adherence to Danielson's Domain 4: Professional Responsibilities. Specifically, this experience showcases Participating in a Profesional Community (4d), Growing and Developing Professionally (4e), and Showing Profesionalism (4f).
